The Hague is located 56 km of Amsterdam. Holland’s royal city, The Hague, has a rich history and tradition. It never fails to impress with its elegant atmosphere, broad tree lined avenues, boutiques, castles and of course the Dutch Parliament. The older parts of the town have many characteristically wide and long streets. Houses are generally low-rise (not more than three floors). The lovely beach of Scheveningen is a popular destination for tourists and young people. There is an adequate network of tram and bus services covering The Hague, Scheveningen and the other suburbs.
